Local History

Littleton is a city that is rich in history and proud of its heritage. The city of Littleton operates a wonderful living history museum that features two working farms from the 19th century.

History of Littleton
In 1997, the Littleton Historical Museum and Bemis Public Library produced more than 40 web pages of Littleton history that included topics from Littleton landmarks to biographies of Littleton's founding citizens. In 2003, 50 more pages were added, plus a virtual walking tour of the historic downtown area.

Memories of World War II
The Littleton Community Network is honored to host a unique project involving World War II veterans and local high school students. LCN also features a brief history of the Littleton World War II Memorial and biographies of some of Littleton's honored veterans.
